Yin yoga is a slow-paced, quiet and reflective practice which consists of long held passive floor poses. It is designed to improve flexibility, calm the body and mind, reduce stress, anxiety and physical tension within the fascia (connective tissues). Yin yoga is a slower form of yoga unlike traditional forms of yoga. Yin yoga gives you space to turn inward and tune into your body and mind. Since you are holding poses for 3-7 minutes, yin helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely used tissues whilst allowing you to breath through any discomfort and just be with your thoughts and emotions.

Amy is a Chartered Physiotherapist and fully Certified APPI Pilates Matwork and large equipment instructor. She has over 15 years experience as a Physiotherapist and now specialises in women’s health. Amy believes in empowering you to feel and move with ease and confidence. Amy began teaching Pilates in 2010 after trying physio led Pilates classes to rehabilitate her own low back pain. She tried all types of therapy before finally finding Pilates. She was so thrilled by her own improvements that she had to learn the method for herself and share her belief and passion. After having 2 c-sections herself, Amy realised that there was little aftercare for the management and treatment of scarring. Since then Amy has attended post graduate education on the treatment of scars and the use of the LymphaTouch. Amy is committed to helping enhance the health and wellbeing of her clients. When Amy is not in clinic or the studio she has two young children that keep her busy. You will find Amy and her family enjoying a walk around Ebrington square, the North Coast or Fermanagh. Amy loves tennis and enjoys Hyrox style training. Amy looks forward to welcoming you into her clinic.
